In response to a growing demand from fleet managers seeking elevated professional development opportunities, FORS are proud to unveil their latest training qualification – the ‘Advanced Practitioner.’ This new qualification is a natural progression from the widely acclaimed FORS Practitioner training programme, which has already seen over 3,400 graduates and expanded with five additional modules earlier this year.
To attain the esteemed Advanced Practitioner status, fleet managers must successfully complete all 15 training modules offered by FORS, surpassing the five required for the base-level FORS Practitioner qualification. The comprehensive FORS Practitioner training portfolio covers a spectrum of topics, including advanced risk management, sustainable fleet operations, and advanced driver training. These modules are thoughtfully designed for transport professionals keen on advancing their professional development while demonstrating unwavering commitment to road safety, operational efficiency, and environmental protection.
For existing FORS Practitioners, the pathway to Advanced Practitioner status involves completing the remaining five courses. However, it is imperative to achieve this milestone before the expiry date of their current qualification.
Commenting on this groundbreaking initiative, FORS Concession Director, Geraint Davies, shared his insights, saying,
“As a FORS Practitioner and former transport operator, I recognize the value of training and professional development in our fast-paced sector. FORS Practitioner has always set the standard for dedicated fleet professionals aiming to elevate their career, positively impact their business, and drive standards in the industry.”
Davies further emphasized the organization’s commitment to raising the bar in road safety, operational efficiency, and environmental protection through the introduction of the Advanced Practitioner qualification. He noted the substantial investment made in the training program over the past year, and the positive response from ambitious fleet managers has been both encouraging and affirming.
The Advanced Practitioner qualification is open to all fleet managers, irrespective of their size or sector. Courses are currently open for booking in September, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals to enhance their skills.
