Ashley’s role at Fleetmaxx Solutions
Ashley works on the behind-the-scenes side of fuel card administration at our Motherwell Office, helping new accounts get set up and making sure existing ones stay on track. She deals with card orders, account changes and the kind of issues that crop up from time to time, such as card declines.
It’s work that relies on getting the details right and responding quickly when something needs attention, helping customers get back on the road without unnecessary delays.
Supporting customers behind the scenes
Much of Ashley’s role involves keeping things moving quietly in the background. Whether it’s managing account updates or responding to queries, she helps make sure customers receive clear, timely support and that nothing is left unresolved.
Her varied experience means she’s comfortable handling different situations and adapting when things change.
Background and experience
Ashley has worked across a range of roles, including administration, hospitality, retail, cleaning and elderly care, including dementia care. That mix of experience has shaped a practical, people-focused approach and an ability to stay calm and organised in busy environments.
Life outside of work
Outside of work, Ashley is a keen reader and devoted mum to her four-year-old son, Kingsley. Her reading taste leans towards thrillers, which perhaps reflects her love of adventure away from work too. Whether it’s visiting new places around Scotland or jumping on a plane to explore somewhere new, Ashley enjoys making the most of her time off.
That sense of adventure may come as no surprise. Ashley spent five years growing up in Spain with her mum, dad and two brothers, an experience that clearly left its mark. When travelling is not on the cards, she is always happy to be at a concert and is also a big fan of truck shows, especially Truckfest.
