There’s something energising about walking into a brand-new office with years of experience under your belt, a passion for people, and the ambition to build something great. For Claire Martin, our new Sales Manager at Fleetmaxx Northwich, that’s exactly what this next chapter is all about.
Claire brings over 20 years of fuel industry experience to her role, along with a high-energy approach and a reputation for truly understanding what customers need – often before they even ask. From launching new products to managing networks and leading teams, Claire’s done it all, and she’s still just as driven by the buzz of a great sale and the satisfaction of helping customers get the best from their fuel solution.
“Fuel goes far beyond just diesel,” she says – and that customer-first mindset is at the heart of her work.
A well-rounded force in fuel
Claire describes herself as an allrounder – and that’s putting it lightly. She’s sold, supported, trained, guided, assisted, and even handled the occasional complaint (not that there are many, she’s quick to point out).
Her experience covers everything from bulk fuel and fuel cards to lubricants and telematics. She’s worked with some of the biggest names in the sector, including NWF, BWOC, MORGANS, Millers Oils, Certas, and DRIVEcard, and now she’s bringing that insight and momentum to Fleetmaxx.
“I love new products entering into the market,” she says. “Ensuring our options are maxed out.”
It’s this blend of enthusiasm and strategy that makes her a perfect fit to lead the new Northwich office.
Beyond the desk
Claire’s passion doesn’t stop at the office door. She’s a proud volunteer at her local football club Witton Albion, and when she’s not working, you’ll likely find her with a film, at a gig, or getting competitive at bowling or laser tag. Holidays are a must, and she and her family make a point of heading to Soccer Aid in Manchester whenever they can.
And yes – she’s also a twin, which might explain her natural skill for teamwork and quick thinking!

It’s not just Claire who’s joining the Fleetmaxx family – her husband, Chris Martin (meet the team coming!), is about to come on board too, making this a real team effort.
“I’m delighted to have joined the Fleetmaxx team,” Claire says. “I have never been made to feel so welcomed and am really excited to grow and develop the Northwich office.”
