At Fleetmaxx Solutions Whitstable, we’re thrilled to introduce you to Bryn Davies, our newest addition to the team under the mentorship of Adam Winchcombe, our esteemed sales manager. Bryn joins us through our apprenticeship scheme, a program designed not only to nurture fresh talent but also to contribute to our community by identifying and developing promising individuals right here in Whitstable.
Inspiration and journey to Fleetmaxx Solutions
Bryn’s journey to Fleetmaxx Solutions began with a spark of interest ignited by our apprenticeship program.
“From what I read on the apprenticeship website, I was really interested,”
Bryn shares. His enthusiasm was further fuelled during the interview process, where Adam Winchcombe’s passion for the job and the industry left a lasting impression.
“Adam didn’t have a bad thing to say about the job, and what he said really intrigued me,” Bryn recalls.
Beyond work: hobbies and interests
Outside of his role at Fleetmaxx Solutions, Bryn leads an active lifestyle. He is deeply involved in sports, particularly roller hockey, where he plays for Herne Bay United.
“I also play golf and go to the gym,” Bryn adds, highlighting his commitment to staying active and balanced outside of work.
Proudest achievement and future aspirations
Bryn’s proudest achievement to date reflects his dedication to roller hockey.
“In 2019-2020, my hockey team and I won the national cup, and we were No. 1 in England,”
Bryn beams with pride. This accomplishment also opened doors for him to participate in the prestigious “Euro hockey” tournament in Spain, showcasing his skills on an international stage.
Looking ahead, Bryn sees a bright future for himself within Fleetmaxx Solutions.
“In five years, I envision myself living comfortably and working from home, doing what I am doing now,”
Bryn shares his aspirations. He also harbours ambitions of progressing further within the company, aiming for higher roles and greater responsibilities as he continues to grow professionally.
Beyond work: personal insights
Apart from his professional and sporting pursuits, Bryn reveals an unexpected talent and passion:
“I am an aspiring rapper,” he shares with a hint of humour, adding a unique dimension to his personality outside the office.
