In this week’s ‘Meet the Team’, we are thrilled to introduce our Whitstable Customer Service Manager, Leigha Green.
Leigha is a senior member of our team of experts who is always on hand to advise which type of fuel card would suit your business most. Some variances may make one offering more suitable to a specific fleet type than others. Leigha specialises in helping businesses reduce running costs with discounted fuelcards, EV solutions, vehicle tracking & cameras, AdBlue® and business insurance solutions.
We sat down to ask Leigha a few questions about her professional career and what she does for fun outside of the office.
On the spot questions…
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Whitstable – the seaside – and I have always appreciated how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place.
What was your first job?
At 14, I was a pot wash in a local hotel.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I wanted to be a combat medic or a first responder.
What is the biggest expected challenge in your role?
I would say making sure customers know how much we appreciate them.
You control the music in the office; what type of music are you playing?
Kisstory or Magic Radio – unfortunately for the team, I often forget my place and sing along louder than I probably should at my desk.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where and why?
Tortola – who wouldn’t want the surprise visit from a couple of pirates to liven up your day.
What is your proudest personal / work achievement?
Eighteen months ago, I couldn’t run to the bottom of my street; now, I’m proud to say I have run my first ultra-marathon.
What do you do outside of work?
Mum – wife – run. Life is busy, but it’s all about the challenge for me. The crazier, the better. When it comes to hobbies – the more dangerous and challenging, the better; adventure is the most valuable thing to me outside of work.
Who would you pick if you could invite 3 celebrities, dead or alive, to dinner?
Einstein, Queen Victoria & Putin.
What is your favourite podcast or genre of book?
Murder mystery or true crime might be strange, but trying to understand psychology fascinates me.
