Scott Speirs: Supporting operations across our Motherwell office

We’re pleased to introduce Scott Speirs, Office Manager at Fleetmaxx Solutions, based in our Motherwell office.

How Scott supports your business

Scott is at the centre of day-to-day operations in our Motherwell office, making sure everything runs as it should. From managing workflows to improving processes behind the scenes, he helps keep things organised, efficient and moving in the right direction.

His role is all about balance. Keeping on top of daily demands while finding ways to improve how we work. That means our teams can focus on supporting customers, knowing the operational side is in safe hands.

Experience and background

With over 12 years in the fuel card industry, Scott brings a strong understanding of both customers and operations. Starting out in sales, he built his knowledge of what businesses need before moving into office management.

That experience gives him a practical, joined-up view of how everything fits together, from customer support through to internal processes.

Skills and approach

Scott takes a hands-on, solutions-focused approach to his role. He is known for being organised, reliable and calm under pressure, someone who keeps things moving even when the day gets busy.

Whether he is supporting senior management or working closely with frontline teams, Scott focuses on making processes clear, simple and effective.

Achievements

Scott’s journey at Fleetmaxx Solutions says a lot about the impact he has made. Progressing from Customer Success Manager to Office Manager, he has taken on more responsibility and become a key part of the team.

He has also picked up two Shell Reseller Awards for Top Shell Customer Success Champion, recognising the high standard of service he consistently delivers.

Outside of work

Even when he’s not at work, Scott doesn’t slow down much. A keen traveller, he has recently taken on the role as a new (and proud) homeowner in Spain, giving him plenty to keep busy outside the office.

He is also a big football fan and has developed a real interest in exploring historic abandoned buildings, often taking photos to capture their history and character.
