Meet Our Team: Welcome Charlie Underdown

At Fleetmaxx Solutions Whitstable, we are delighted to introduce Charlie Underdown, our new Apprentice Business Development Manager. Charlie joins us under the mentorship of Adam Winchcombe, our dedicated Sales Manager. This addition to our team is part of our new apprenticeship scheme, designed to discover and mentor local talent in and around Whitstable.

Inspiration and journey to Fleetmaxx Solutions

Charlie Underdown’s journey to Fleetmaxx Solutions began with a clear vision and enthusiasm for the sales industry.

“I was inspired by the good workforce and the hard work here,” Charlie shares. “I admire the dedication and the professional environment. I like the idea of sales and believe I have the correct skill sets. I also believe it will be a great start for my career.”

This enthusiasm and belief in his abilities make Charlie an exciting addition to our team. His proactive approach and passion for learning are precisely what we look for in our apprentices.

Beyond work: hobbies and interests of Charlie Underdown

Outside of his professional aspirations, Charlie leads an active and social lifestyle.

“The gym is an interest of mine,” Charlie says.

Staying fit and healthy is a priority for him, and the gym provides a perfect outlet for this. Additionally, Charlie enjoys playing football with his friends, which not only keeps him active but also strengthens his teamwork skills.

Socialising is another significant part of Charlie’s life.

“I enjoy spending time with my mates, trying out different food and restaurants,” he adds.

This social side of Charlie complements his professional persona, making him well-rounded and relatable.

Proudest achievement and future aspirations

When asked about his greatest achievement to date, Charlie reflects on a leadership role from his school days.

“Holding a sports tournament as leader at secondary school,” he recalls with pride.

This experience not only showcased his leadership abilities but also his capacity to organise and manage events successfully. It is these qualities that Charlie brings to his role at Fleetmaxx Solutions.

Looking to the future, Charlie has clear goals.

“In five years, I would like to have travelled across Europe and be working in Sales!” he shares.

This ambition to explore new cultures and experiences across Europe reflects his adventurous spirit and desire for growth, both personally and professionally. His goal to remain in sales underscores his commitment to the field and his intent to build a long-term career in this dynamic industry.
