Where you can use your Esso Fleet Fuel card?
- Accepted at all Esso sites across the UK
- Also accepted at the following forecourts; BP and Shell
What can you buy with your Esso Fleet card?
- All fuels, AdBlue and lubricants
- If you need to restrict the card from any of these purchases, please speak to your advisor
How does the pricing work with your Esso Fleet card?
- Pricing for all fuels, AdBlue and lubricants is pump/forecourt price for all Esso, BP and Shell sites
- You will receive an e-mail notification of your price (Esso only) each Friday for the forthcoming week (Sat – Fri).
What security do you get with your Esso Fleet Fuel card?
- This fuel card is PIN enabled. You can choose your PINs or have them allocated to you.
- All cards will show your company name, you may then choose between vehicle registration numbers, driver’s names, simple numbers or a combination of the three.
- Liability without Card Guard: if your card is lost or stolen, then you must report this to us as soon as possible, ideally in writing. You remain liable for all purchases for 24 hours after acknowledgement of loss. ‘Card Guard’ offers you financial security for a minimal outlay from as little as 25p per card per month. Please speak to your advisor with respect to costs.
- You will receive a weekly invoice from us by e-mail. This will show all purchases made on your card, the location of the forecourt, the vehicle / driver details, date and time and the product purchased. These should be checked, and any queries raised with your advisor as quickly as possible.
- You will have online access to check uninvoiced purchases and order or cancel fuel cards.
- For an even higher level of security, we advise you speak to your advisor with respect to our industry leading vehicle telematics products.
What are the payments terms with your Esso Fleet Fuel card?
- Our standard terms are weekly by direct debit, giving up to ten days credit.
- Other terms may be available, please speak to your advisor.
- All invoices are fully HMRC compliant.
Other than for fuel are there any hidden extra charges with your Esso Fleet Fuel card?
- No, unlike some of our competitors, we are your trusted pater, we do not have any hidden extra costs.
- Our standard charge for the issue of your first set of fuel cards is £12. In your second and subsequent years, a card renewal fee will be charged at £15 per card.
- Variable charges will apply for copy receipts and returned direct debits.
- No further charges apply, should this change we undertake to give you a minimum of four weeks’ notice.
Are there any transaction limits with your Esso Fleet Fuel card?
- For security reasons, a daily/weekly / monthly limit of spend and/or transactions applies to your cards and account, please speak to your advisor if this should be insufficieny.
Can drivers collect Loyalty points with your Esso Fleet Fuel card?
- Nectar points can be collected at all Esso sites
