Shell Pay At The Pump for business
Fleetmaxx Solutions offers services to make our customers’ lives easier when filling up. We aim to make your drivers as efficient as possible, as the more time they’re off the road will cost your business. We’re delighted to offer our customers the “Shell Pay At The Pump” payment service.
What is Shell Pay At The Pump?
Shell’ Pay at Pump’ is a payment service where you pay for fuel on your mobile quickly and easily from your car
and is available at most Shell stations. You use the ‘Pay at Pump’ service within the Shell app and just simply:
• Enter and confirm the pump number from the comfort of your vehicle.
• Select your fuel card as the payment method.
• Wait for the ‘Start Fueling’ message to appear.
• Then fill up and drive off. As simple as that!
Your transaction will be the same as a standard fuel card transaction on your invoice.
How Does It Work?
It’s a simple process, saving you time and effort of going in and paying for your fuel:
- Select the “Pay at the Pump” option on your home screen. The app detects which Shell station you are
- At, but if it is not detected automatically, confirm this manually.
- Enter the number of the pump you wish to use, the odometer reading and the Fleet ID (if required and requested within the app).
- PIN/Face recognition/fingerprint to confirm your payment details and then wait for authorisation.
- Start fueling. Replace the nozzle when you are finished completing the transaction.
- You will receive the transaction details via an in-app receipt, and the Fleet Manager will receive an invoice by email. Transactions will also be visible in invoices, as usual. Don’t worry: the cashier knows you have paid.
IMPORTANT: Please remember to leave your mobile phone in the car whilst you are fuelling!
What Do I Need To Do To Sign Up?
To sign up for the “Shell Pay at the Pumps”, customers need to phone their Fleetmaxx account manager as we require an email address and card for each employee. The email address must be a company email address. The customer will need to specify which card will be allocated to that email address.
Once this is all done, our team will set you up with an account on the app, and you can use your tablet or mobile to access the app. However, you will need an internet connection. Once that’s all set up, you’re ready to use the app.
This service will be available for all of our Shell fuel cards: Shell CRT, Shell EV Recharge Shell Hybrid Card and Shell Fleet Fuel Card.
